EARLY REGISTRATION ENDS ON JUNE 12TH FOR ALL SUMMER CAMPS!
Lunch is available for $30 per week if purchased before camp begins. Lunch can be purchased the week of camp for $10 per day. Students have their choice of cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, or Jimmy Johns sandwiches (sandwiches are Bellevue only). All lunches come with two slices of pizza or two sandwiches as well as chips and a drink. Lunch can be purchased on the camp registration page.
EARLY DROP OFF AND LATE PICK-UP OPTIONS
Early Drop-Off is available between 8:00 - 9:00 AM for no additional charge. Weekly Late Pick-Up is available for purchase from either 4-5 PM for $30 or 4-6 PM for $50 before camp beings. Late pick-up can be purchased the week of camp for $10 per hour or partial hour. Our centers close at 6:00 PM. Late pick-up can be purchased on the camp registration page.
Snack cards are available for purchase for $10 per week. Students with a snack card will receive one snack in the morning and one in the afternoon each day of camp. Snack cards cannot be pro-rated, but single snacks are available for purchase through our vending machines in Bellevue and Redmond. Snacks can be purchased on the camp registration page.
SUMMER CAMP CALENDAR
Each camp provides an education program tailored to your child's needs through an assessment completed at the beginning of camp. Our instructors challenge students with new material that reinforces a solid foundation and encourages positive life skills.
Chess4Life is a great place to bring friends and make new ones! Every student has room to grow and play while learning valuable life skills in our camps.
ART PLUS CHESS: $319
Provider: Young Rembrandts
Young Rembrandts Art Camp is an exciting way to improve your drawing skills while having fun! Young Rembrandts’ proven drawing curriculum will help you create spectacular color illustrations of a variety of subjects. Each week will have a different drawing focus.
*Transportation is only required in the Bellevue center and will be provided by Bellevue Best in Class.
BADMINTON PLUS CHESS: $319
Provider: Seattle Badminton Club
The Seattle Badminton Club provides a fun, 5-day camp to help juniors learn and better understand badminton. It sets up a foundation for them to improve badminton skills and movements in the future. Our curriculum includes but is not limited to the following areas:
*Transportation to and from Badminton is provided by Chess4Life. Badminton may be held in a morning or afternoon session.
BASEBALL PLUS CHESS: $339
Skyhawks coaches teach the fundamentals of fielding, catching, throwing, hitting, and base running in a fun, positive environment. Athletes learn new baseball skills along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and responsibility. All participants receive a t-shirt and a player evaluation.
*Transportation to Baseball is provided by Chess4Life. Baseball may be held in a morning or afternoon session.
BASKETBALL PLUS CHESS: $339
This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. An active week of passing, shooting, dribbling, and rebounding makes this one of our most popular programs. All participants receive a t-shirt, basketball, and player evaluation.
*Transportation to Basketball is provided by Chess4Life. Basketball may be held in a morning or afternoon session.
BEST IN CLASS PLUS CHESS: $319
Provider: Best in Class Education
Best in Class Education's Gifted Youth Camp gives students a chance to stay sharp, learn, and have fun in the summer. Students cooperate and learn collectively during our group activities which include math exercises, math word problems, test preparation, logic exercises, reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, creative writing, reading, arts and crafts, and much more. Students practice the lessons with the supervision of helpful instructors. Camps can focus on either Math or English--or both!
*Transportation to Best in Class is provided by Best in Class. Best in Class will be held in the afternoon session.
CODING (K-2ND) PLUS CHESS: $399
Provider: Coding With Kids
Our Little Coders camp is an opportunity for children to develop their computational thinking skills, build their first programs, and have fun with new friends! The curriculum is designed specifically for younger students, and combines a blend of playful activities - both connected and "unplugged" - to keep campers engaged and entertained. Campers will express their creativity in their interactive "zoos" using Scratch, learn programming fundamentals through the board game Robot Turtles, create animated stories and much more.
*Coding is provided through Coding with Kids and is held at the Chess4Life center.
CODING (3RD-6TH) PLUS CHESS: $399
This camp is both for children who are new to computer programming, as well as those who have already started their computer science journey. Using drag-and-drop programming environment, students learn key programming concepts and create their first computer programs, including turtle graphics and simple games. The novices start from the very beginning concepts; experienced students start with more advanced topics. Children also learn additional skills such as problem solving, debugging, and team work. Primary tool: Scratchskill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players.
DRAMA PLUS CHESS: $319
Provider: Drama Kids International of Eastside Seattle
Enthusiastic students who learn to speak out clearly and relate confidently with others will have an inside track to lifetime success.
Drama Kids develops all kids. We’re a place where all children, from the shy to the outgoing can develop at their own pace with plenty of positive encouragement.
Our specialty is using a wide range of unique drama activities to focus the bold, outspoken child and to draw out the quiet child or the inarticulate child and help them reach into themselves to discover their full potential.
Drama Kids International uses our famous copyrighted original curriculum in each class. Lessons are carefully planned so that students can enroll at any time and will never repeat a lesson regardless of when they enroll.
*Transportation to and from Drama is provided by Chess4Life.
ELEVATED SPORTZ: $319
Provider: Elevated Sportz
*Elevated Sportz is in the same business complex as Chess4Life so no vehicle transportation is required. Students will be walked back and forth between the two camps by the two facilities' staff.
FENCING PLUS CHESS: $389
Provider: Rain City Fencing
Join us this summer for a week of fencing fun! We offer half day, week-long fencing camps for beginners as well as experienced fencers. Camps are a great way for beginners to learn to fence. No experience is required and we provide all fencing equipment. Kids who have taken classes or camps before may be ready for our continuing or intermediate camps. Either way you'll get a chance to improve your skills, make new friends and have fun!
*Transportation to and from Fencing Camp is provided by Chess4Life. Fencing may be held in a morning or afternoon session.
FLAG FOOTBALL PLUS CHESS: $339
Flag Football is the perfect introduction to “America’s Game.” Campers learn skills on both sides of the football including the core components of passing, catching, and defense – all presented in a fun and positive environment. The week ends with the Skyhawks Super Bowl, giving participants a chance to showcase their skills on the gridiron! All participants receive a t-shirt, football, and player evaluation.
*Transportation to Flag Football is provided by Chess4Life. Flag Football may be held in a morning or afternoon session.
GOLF PLUS CHESS: $339
Skyhawks Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes through proper technique and refining the essential skills of the game. This camp will focus on the fundamentals of form, chipping, putting, driving and body positioning. To assist in this training, Skyhawks has adopted the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) system to its curriculum. SNAG is specifically designed for the entry-level player; SNAG simplifies instruction so that young players can make an easy and effective transition onto the golf course. No need to bring your own clubs--all equipment is provided. We keep the instructor-to-camper ratio for this program very low, resulting in limited availability. All participants receive a t-shirt and a merit award.

KARATE PLUS CHESS: $309
Provider: Eastside Family Karate
Your child will learn traditional Okinawan Karate in our Redmond Martial Arts Dojo (near the Microsoft campus). This program consists of a combination of karate, safety skills, coordination drills, and fun activities that reinforce that each child is smart, special, strong, and a winner. It offers an effective self-defense program along with a means for character development, discipline and self-esteem.
*Transportation to and from Karate may be provided by Eastside Family Karate or Chess4Life depending on the week. Karate may be held in a morning or afternoon session.
LEGO PLUS CHESS: $319
Chess4Life LEGO Camp is an exciting camp designed to engage your student through individual and group challenges, team building activities, educational activities, and free build time while encouraging fun and teaching Life Skills!
*No transportation is required. Chess4Life provides all materials. LEGO may be hosted in an afternoon or morning session.
MINI-HAWK PLUS CHESS: $339
This baseball, basketball, and soccer program gives children a fun and positive first step into athletics. Through games and activities, campers explore balance, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace. All participants receive a t-shirt, ball, and a merit award.
*Transportation to Mini Hawks is provided by Chess4Life. Mini Hawks may be held in a morning or afternoon session.
PACIFIC SCIENCE CENTER PLUS CHESS
Provider: Pacific Science Center hosts the registration for this camp on their website. Camps will be held in multiple locations in the greater Seattle area.
Join Chess4Life and Pacific Science Center for a week of chess and computer science! Half of each day will be spent with experienced Chess4Life instructors where every camper will be taught at his or her individual level of understanding as engaging lessons make the strategic game of chess come to life. Compete in friendly tournaments that increase reasoning, pattern recognition and math skills. Spend the afternoon with Pacific Science Center exploring an introduction to computer science. Technology instruction combined with hands-on projects will give campers a look at the ins and outs of programming and how the internet works. Work with a team to explore the fundamentals of building a webpage and create music and art using code. Practice reading binary code and investigate artificial intelligence to see if you have what it takes to beat a computer in a game of chess.
ROBOTICS PLUS CHESS: $359
Do you want to learn about the way things work? Come join us as we build and learn all about robots. Even take home your very own working prototype!
Students will focus on finding the fun in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Education through hands-on lessons in robotics, automation, and basic mechanics. Students will build and keep their prototype!
*No transportation is required. Robotics may be held in an afternoon or morning session.
SOCCER PLUS CHESS: $339
Skyhawks was founded as a soccer club in 1979. Thirty years later, we are still the number one choice for parents looking to introduce their children to the fundamentals of the world’s most popular sport. Using our progressional curriculum, your young athlete will gain the technical skills and sport knowledge required for the next step into soccer. Designed for beginner and intermediate players, this camp focuses on dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control. All participants receive a t-shirt, soccer ball, and player evaluation.
*Transportation to Soccer is provided by Chess4Life. Soccer may be held in a morning or afternoon session.
TABLE TENNIS PLUS CHESS: $319
Provider: Seatlle Pacific Table Tennis
Our goal at Seattle Pacific Table Tennis Club is to promote the sport of table tennis in the greater Seattle area. Our 4,000 square-foot facility includes 8 Butterfly Centrefold tables, an 18-foot ceiling, ITTF approved Gerflor flooring, and a friendly, professional environment. We support all levels of players who enjoy the great sport of table tennis. For those seeking formal training, our experienced coaching staff consists of several highly accomplished players.
*Transportation to and from Table Tennis is provided by the Seattle Pacific Table Tennis Club. Table Tennis may be held in a morning or afternoon session.
TENNIS PLUS CHESS: $339
In Skyhawks tennis programs, players learn proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys, and serves during a series of drills designed to teach skills in a fun and dynamic way. Athletes also learn the rules and etiquette that make tennis an exciting game. Due to limited court space, these programs fill quickly. Participants should bring tennis racquet's, appropriate clothing, two snacks, a water bottle, running shoes, and sunscreen. All participants receive a t-shirt and a player evaluation.
*Transportation to Tennis is provided by Chess4Life. Tennis may be held in a morning or afternoon session.
TRACK & FIELD PLUS CHESS: $339
This camp is provided in Bellevue
Skyhawks Track & Field combines technical development, fundamental techniques, and safety with a major focus on fun! Using special equipment, our staff teach the standard track & field events: long distance, sprints, relays, shot put, discus, and standing long-jump. Our exercises and drills prepare athletes for a future in cross-country, track & field events, and distance running while inspiring a love for running and being active. Participants put it all together for one, fun-filled day at the Skyhawks track meet! Participants should bring appropriate clothing, two snacks, a water bottle, running shoes, and sunscreen. All participants receive a t-shirt and a merit award.
