Course Description:

Parents, are you looking for a great enrichment activity for your CHERRY CREST ELEMENTARY student to build on to their remote learning? Have your kids participate in the FUN & ENGAGING Online Chess4Life Clubs!

Much like the very popular Chess4Life after-school clubs, Online Chess4Life Clubs are an interactive  fun and engaging program for any student who wishes to learn the game or improve their knowledge of Chess.

The Chess4Life After School Chess Club is designed for students of any ability. Our Chess Clubs are taught by certified coaches who tailor the curriculum to meet the needs of the students. Learning and playing chess provides a host of benefits including improved memory, problem-solving skills, an enhanced ability to think ahead, and potential performance improvement in math and science. We strive to ensure that all of our students learn life, improve at chess, and have fun.

Other Details:

-Registered students will receive the links and program access information via an email upon registering

-Please be prepared to use Zoom web conferencing app for accessing the class links

-LiChess accounts, while optional, is needed for any student who wishes to participate in the playtime after the lesson
